Matariki is the Maori name for the small stars of stars also known as the Pleiades or the Seven Sisters, in the Taurus constellation.  Matariki is the name for the central food in the cluster. During Matariki, is a time to remember those who have passed away and Clusters celebrate they had been collected Matariki is still celebrated today.
